When pursuing a career in aviation many pilots build up their experience by towing gliders. I was attracted to it since seeing my first “towing” in September 2014 while attending the annual corn roast fly-in at Kars.   Avec la neige partie, je me remémore mon premier vol sur skis du mois de mars et j’en parle ici. Le 4 mars dernier, je recevais une invitation impromptue pour aller voler dans un avion équipé de skis. Un avion de construction amateur VP-2 que j’avais volé une fois auparavant… sur roues. Some are mesmerized by flying in the Canadian winter. I read that they sort of know because they flew in cold weather too. (- 5 degrees celsius is by no means considered cold around here!
